A boat ride from Bali to Lombok and a buss ride along the beautiful west coast of Lombok and
finally a somewhat shorter boat ride took us to Gili Trawangan the 'Party island' island.
A nice paradise Island with some great snorkeling and diving. And a great place to meet up with some
nice people like we did. |
| The Gili Islands consists of three islands. Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. The last and
outer one that we stayed on was the largest and probably and most populated one. Both by inhabitants and tourists.
This made it possible for some great party's and some late nights. This photo taken from the hill were we could watch
the sun set over Bali. A beautiful view. |

The beach with water as warm as the air. A nice wall of coral and a constant current made it
a great place to snorkel. Just drift along and watch the show.

| We lived in some great bungalows with big verandas and not to forget 'western style toilet'.
Our host Man entertained us with jokes and dragged us along on all the parties. |
